Hainan Fresh Coconuts Debut in Belarus

Source:

Release time:2026-01-06 16:05

According to CCTV News, recently, 19.5 tons of fresh coconuts produced in Qiongshan District, Haikou City, were successfully shipped from the Alashankou Port via cross-border road transport under the supervision of Yecheng Customs, a subsidiary of Haikou Customs, officially heading to Belarus, a country jointly building the "Belt and Road" initiative. This marks the first time Hainan's fresh coconuts have entered the Belarusian market. This successful export not only enriches the trade categories between Hainan and Belarus but also lays a solid foundation for expanding tropical fruit exports in the future. To ensure the smooth entry of fresh coconuts into the target market, Yecheng Customs established a dedicated service team, reviewing Belarus's plant quarantine requirements in advance, guiding enterprises to establish quality management standards for exported fresh coconuts, and implementing standardized control throughout the entire process, from plantation management to packaging and storage. Additionally, leveraging the "Priority Inspection Channel for Fresh Agricultural Products," adopting a collaborative mechanism of "pre-shipment technical guidance + efficient inspection during the process," and quickly issuing quarantine certificates through the "Customs Cloud Issuance" system, the customs has maximized the reduction of clearance time to ensure the quality of the fresh fruit.
