Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Suriya Jungrungreangkit noted that this performance surge stems mainly from a comprehensive overhaul of Thailand’s export management framework. The government has shifted its focus from addressing isolated issues to implementing systematic, end-to-end supply chain oversight. By establishing rigorous quality control systems, Thailand has strengthened trust among trade partners and improved logistics and customs clearance efficiency.

To tackle long-standing quality and quarantine challenges, Thai agricultural authorities have vigorously promoted the “Four-No” standards while rolling out a four-tier PLUS screening mechanism. This approach enhances pest and disease control, applies science-based risk management, and ensures full supply-chain traceability. Furthermore, by integrating resources from the Ministry of Agriculture, the standards council, customs, and testing laboratories, Thailand has successfully launched an interconnected electronic phytosanitary certification system. This innovation has significantly streamlined administrative inspection procedures while ensuring precise, transparent oversight.
