On November 26th, the first shipment of Chilean cherries for the 2025/26 season was grandly unloaded at Shanghai Huizhan Fruit Wholesale Market.

The introduction from Jizhi states that the cabinet mainly contains varieties such as Black Pearl, Royal Dawn, and the yellow variety Rainier, with sizes primarily J, 2J, and 3J. The main packaging specifications include: "Red Car Jizhi 2n1" (2.5kg x 2), San Francisco 5kg, RED DREAMS 5kg, and "Yellow Car Jizhi 2n1" (2.2kg x 2).

Fu Lei, Sales and Marketing Director of Giddings in China, revealed that the arrival of the first shipment of Chilean cherries by sea marks the full launch of the new season's maritime imports of Chilean cherries into the Chinese market, with multiple express vessels set to arrive subsequently. It is reported that the first "Cherry Express" vessel, MSC LOME V, is scheduled to dock at Nansha on December 6, carrying approximately 452 containers of Chilean cherries, with Giddings accounting for about 153 of them. Additionally, HMM BLESSING is also planned to dock in Hong Kong on December 7, carrying around 366 containers of Chilean cherries, with Giddings accounting for roughly 62 of them.

Price trends will hinge more on inventory drawdown progress and cost support than supply-side panic. Close monitoring of spring planting, weather, and actual demand shifts is advised.
